Founder's Club Campaign

Dear Friend of CVCR,

Our community is on the verge of having its own, locally-based, Christian Radio Station which will provide Cumberland and Perry Counties with Christian Entertainment, Education and News. Cumberland Valley Christian Radio, WPFG 91.3 FM, will be tailored to support our community's needs.

Transmitting from a tower atop Waggoner's Gap, WPFG will reach from Shippensburg to the West Shore in Cumberland County and potentially as far north as New Bloomfield in Perry County. It is exciting to imagine the possibilities this amazing ministry will create as we work to spread God's Word through radio to our friends and neighbors.

Of course, starting a non-profit Christian Radio Station is an expensive and complicated business proposition. Start-up expenses and first year operating expenses are projected to exceed $350,000 with an immediate need to build a $150,000 operating fund to get "on the air."

It is exciting for me to be able to offer you the opportunity to join me in our Founders' Club Capital Campaign for 2011. The Founder's Club Campaign is a personal outreach to our friends and family who are active in the local Christian Community. I hope you will join me in the Founder's Club with a generous offering of $1000, or more. Founder's Club Members will be permanently recognized through a plaque displayed in the lobby of our studio.

You may donate securely through our website or send donations to CVCR, P.O. Box 125 Carlisle, PA 17013. Payments may be made in a single donation or successive donations. The Founder's Club Campaign will end in December 2011.

It is my hope that you may be blessed by the presence of WPFG in our community.

Founders' Club Chairperson, Bruce A. Apgar Jr.
